Meet the visionaries: Alison and John
Alison and John Collins are the heart and soul of Mystic Meadow Retreat. Both are Authorised Celebrants, bringing a personal and meaningful touch to weddings and funerals. John, a talented chef, caterer, TAFE teacher, and professional entertainer (an Elvis Tribute Artist), ensures every event is deliciously memorable and lively. Alison, a compassionate Breathwork therapist and creator of Women's Self-Development Programs and Weekend Retreats, brings a sense of calm and introspection. Our dream was to own our own property and offer beautiful, meaningful experiences all in one place. Mystic Meadow Retreat is our labour of love, a dream we hope to share with many. Our hopes & dreams for Mystic Meadow Retreat
We envision Mystic Meadow Retreat becoming more than just a venue – a sanctuary, a story, a legacy. A holistic retreat for life’s big moments. While weddings are a cornerstone, we dream of also hosting wellness sessions that help people breathe again, clarity coaching that feels like a reset, and legacy and living-eulogy work that brings families closer. It will be a place where people come to mark transitions with intention, beauty, and gentleness.
